Xilinx Supports New Synthesis Solution From Mentor Graphics

SAN JOSE, CA--(INTERNET WIRE)--Mar 4, 2002 -- Xilinx, Inc. (NASDAQ:XLNX), the leader in programmable logic solutions, today announced its support for the new Mentor Graphics(R) Precision Synthesis(TM) tool within the Xilinx ISE Alliance EDIF based flow, complete with full support for all Xilinx FPGAs.

Developed to address the synthesis requirements of next-generation FPGAs, including the new Xilinx(R) Virtex(R)-II Pro devices, Precision Synthesis is an essential tool for Platform FPGA designs with their complex timing challenges and system performance requirements.
